Get Involved

Our goal is to make Music Haven's programs tuition-free for all of our students through the generous contributions of friends like you.

You can get involved in the following ways:

  1. Donate stringed instruments, bows, instrument cases, music stands, accessories, or music.
  2. Volunteer your time and skills at our concerts or at other future special events.
  3. Make a tax-deductible donation to Music Haven, Inc by sending a check (made payable to Music Haven) to:

232 St. John Street, 1st Flr, New Haven, CT 06511

Where your donation will go:

  • $50 provides new strings for 3 violins.
  • $100 supports 5 music stands.
  • $400 provides a violin, bow, and case for one of our students.
  • $500 supports a viola, bow, and case.
  • $1000 provides a cello, bow, and case.
  • $2,000 underwrites a whole year's worth of lessons and group classes for one child (2 hours a week for 36 weeks).
  • $25,000 provides lessons for a whole studio of young musicians.

Gifts may be specified for instruments, tuition, general operating expenses, or given as tribute gifts. Additionally, you can set up an endowed fund or scholarship, participate as a corporate sponsor, or make a planned gift by including Music Haven in your estate planning.
