The Legacy String Quartet is an emerging musical ensemble based in Connecticut in the Fairfield and New Haven County areas. Since its founding in 2022, the quartet has captivated audiences with concerts showcasing remarkably diverse and innovative programs. The mission of the ensemble is simple: create musical experiences that are interesting and welcoming to all. From masterclasses at public schools to open rehearsals at elder care facilities, the Legacy String Quartet is dedicated to being an active light in their local communities. Having nurtured their passion through teaching and learning music with their local community and educational institutions, an essential pillar of this group is about taking a break from everyday life and giving back by performing for non-profits, fostering community engagement, and supporting fundraising efforts.
