Join us for a calming and imaginative wellness concert experience designed especially for young listeners (ages 7-12). This interactive program brings together live piano and violin improvisation with a reading of Freedom, We Sing — the lyrical and visually stunning picture book featuring Amyra León’s hopeful poem and Molly Mendoza’s lush, immersive illustrations.
Children will gather in a cozy circle for a guided musical meditation to help them settle, breathe, and arrive in the moment. As the story unfolds, live music will weave through the reading, creating an emotional soundscape that deepens the journey of the book and invites reflection, curiosity, and connection.
Freedom, We Sing gently explores what it means to feel free, hopeful, and strong — even during challenging times. Through story, sound, and shared listening, this program offers young people a space to imagine, feel, and express. The experience closes with movement and an energy-release activity, helping kids leave feeling grounded, uplifted, and empowered.
This is more than storytime — it’s a space to listen, breathe, wonder, and discover the freedom inside ourselves.
